Care for the culture.
Understand the science.
Temperature, moisture, time, and formulation can affect how many probiotic cultures remain viable. Refrigeration can help preserve live counts in temperature-sensitive products.1
Viability and health benefits answer different questions. A storage study measures surviving cultures; a clinical study investigates outcomes in people. Refrigeration alone does not prove better health results.
- 01Before dispatch
Kept cool.
Natren keeps its probiotic products refrigerated while they are not in transit.
- 02On the journey
Packed with care.
Thermal packaging is used for shipping, with dry ice added during hotter months. Dispatch schedules help limit weekend delays.
- 03At home
Back to the fridge.
Refrigerate on arrival. Keep the bottle’s storage instructions close, and make them part of your routine.
How should I store Healthy Trinity?
Keep refrigerated. Do not freeze. Follow the complete directions on your bottle; other products may have their own instructions.3
What if my delivery arrives warm?
Refrigerate the product and contact us with your order number, bottle lot, and delivery details. Package temperature alone cannot establish the remaining live count. Follow any dry-ice handling instructions on the package.
Get help with your delivery ↗Can I take it with me when I travel?
Plan around the storage directions on your bottle. There is no single room-temperature allowance for every probiotic. Ask us about your product and travel plans before you leave.
Plan product care with us ↗Do all probiotics need refrigeration?
No. Some formulas require refrigeration; others are designed for room-temperature storage. Check the specific strains, expiry-date count, packaging, and storage directions. The right conditions depend on the product.4
