I've been taking Natren probiotics for many years. I started taking them in my teens when I had terrible stomach issues. I saw an Ayurvedic doctor who told me the problem was the lack of "good" bacteria in my stomach and intestines. She said that she had studied many brands of probiotics under the microscope and Natren was the only brand that had live bacteria. It's because they keep their product chilled. It wasn't instant relief. It took several months, but I started feeling better and never needed the acid blockers and prescriptions meds that the doctors all wanted me to take. I reached the point where I could eat dairy again and enjoy foods I never could without stomach pain, bloating, gas, etc. These probiotics have been life-changing for me. (And side note- my doctor told me to order directly from the site because even though Natren can be found in other stores, you can't be sure that the product has been kept chilled. If not, the live bacteria die and it's useless.) Natren ships the product on dry ice and that's really important.

Helps my digestion

Not sure how it works .. the same way I don't understand exactly how electricity or satellite signals work with the internet ha-ha, but I do know that by using the probiotics from cadavers that's a plus for me, it's a female founder of the company, and I suppose overall it just does what it's supposed to do to fight the bad bacteria and keep it out of a gut.
